Tourist - Your Girl

You find yourself caught hook, line and sinker, the synth melodies and soft warm vocals are too irresistible. Its a feel good track for those frosty cold winter mornings when nothing can seem to cheer you up. Tourist has a talent of producing big uplifting beats, check out 'Placid Acid' which is another prime example. Available on a free download.

Coen - Sansou

New on the scene Manchester based producer Coen is defiantly one to watch, he produces vibrant house beats with a signature old skool style. From support and plays from dj caspa it proves that 'sansou' is definatly one for the clubs, I'm looking forward to hearing one of his sets on soundcloud, but a more pressing question on all of our minds is when is the release date?

Josh Kumra - Waiting For You (Cinematic Remix)

Josh Kumra - Waiting For You (Cinematic Remix)

Josh Kumra is blessed with a smooth smokey voice, and his original 'waiting for you' has an almost soulful vibe to it. But Cinematic have done something rather extraordinary,  they have ripped the heart out of the original and given it a new body. They've put a deep house beat behind those stunning vocals, and suddenly its transformed into something special, you cant really categorize it, but who cares, its something original and exciting.

Catching Flies produces deep smooth ambient sounds which leave you with goosebumps. This   remix has made the orignial almost unrecognisable, as always Catching Flies putting their stamp of originality on it, slowing down and blending the vocals into a soft beat to make a thing of beauty. You cant seem to resist the chilled relaxing vibes, available on a freee download via their website.

Ultraista - Gold Dayz (Maribou State Remix)

I'm scrolling down my soundcloud and I suddenly see a new Maribou State track has been put up, I get that sudden burst of excitement  mixed with anticipation, because I know its going to be good. I find a real connection with the sounds they produce, 'Gold Days' is a beautifully enchanting track that you never want to end, 'just one more' hit you tell yourself. I've  previously blogged about Maribou state with 'Doo Wop' and no doubt they will be blogged  about in the future, their music is like a drug which you find-yourself hopelessly addicted to.

Cube Face - Tell Me

I was driving late down the motorway this evening, It felt darker than usual, rain was pounding down on my windscreen and the wipers endlessly flapped up and down. 'Tell Me' came on and it seemed to perfectly fit my mood, it puts you in a daydream with the sweet skipping beat and the emotive chopped vocals, you end up endlessly pushing the repeat button just so you can return to that feeling. It has a dark edge to it with the vocals 'I wished that you'd tell me', which makes it very absorbing, one of those tunes for the late night listen.

Whitney Houston - It's Not Right (Crown Duels Tribute)

Released a few months ago 'its not right' still stays as fresh as the first time I played it, there is an upbeat pulse like a heartbeat behind the soft yet powerful Whitney Houston vocals. It has a bittersweet vibe to it, as the beat is very positive and warm, yet there is a message in the vocals of 'moving on' and 'rather be alone'. What makes Crown Duels unique is that they produce such diverse music, their latest release 'we love this music' is very different to 'It's not right', a deep base and house vibe and very fitting to the club scene, there is something special about Crown Duels.

Boean - No Love Dear

Boean is a London based producer/DJ who has hit the nail on the head here, right from the start you're sucked in by a warm infectious beat, the Destiny's Child 'no scrubs' sample is nostalgic yet a thing of beauty. It is hard to believe this is his debut, as 'no love dear' is a very accomplished sound and very well put together. It is a very similar sound to the previously blogged 'Pledge - Some Times', with its raw vocals and old school garage vibes. Boean is a very exciting new arrival on the house scene and one to watch for the future.

Forget Me Not - Kill Me

This came to my attention via the amazing Eton Messy, who has a fine art of finding the best future garage and bass tunes from every corner of the web. 'Forget Me Not' are a trio from Bristol who produce very original sounds, 'Kill Me' has dark mellow skipping beat to it, spine-tingling percussion and evocative melancholy vocals which seem to tell a story.. 'kill me with your love'. This is also part of the messy compilation 002 which is as always full of banging tunes so get downloading now.

Applebottom - I.M.O.G.E.N

Applebottom has become one of the best future garage producers on the scene at the moment, with support from the great Eton Messy. The Beyonce 'Crazy in love' sample has been reshaped and molded into something extraordinary. What makes Applebotton so good is that his tracks are not overproduced, taking house beats and garage sounds back to their roots. 'OoOoOo Baby' is very similar, a funky cool house beat and well put together sample, creating very addictive sounds. I.M.O.G.E.N available on a free download via soundcloud.

Chris Malinchak - If You Got It

Take a few minutes out of your day, stop from the rat race, close your eyes and just listen. You're by a pool in Ibiza, beautiful women are dancing everywhere whilst the sun in beaming down on you, you have not a worry in the world. "If you got it" gives a smooth summer ambiance which just makes you feel good. You don't want the song to end and that warm summer feeling to fade away, Chris Malichak has produced something very special here.

Stay+ - Crashed (feat. Queenie)

Stay+ have a very recognizable sound, a fast pulsating beat which is very emotive, full of energy and raw vocal samples. "Crashed" is a masterpiece and a very fitting song title, the hurt and emotion in the female vocals compliments the explosive drop and fast beat. It is almost telling a painful story of a girl who has been hurt and has now crashed, there is a dark and melancholy edge to this song which makes it so magic. The fast beat and touching vocals is seemingly perfectly fitted to the early morning club scene, Crashed is Stay+ best effort yet.

Pledge - Some Timez

Pledge has really captured the essence and beauty of future garage music here with its sweet percussion, skipping beat and chopped up vocals. It brings back the roots of garage music and  "some timez" gives off really pure raw vibes, a very easy enjoyable down-tempo listen, The vocals in this track really make it soulful and give you it a blasé vibe. Its a shame we don't know more about the man behind Pledge who remains elusive, the song is available via free download link so download it now and try out his other addictive future garage tracks.

Jesse Boykins III & MeLo-X - The Perfect Blues (Jacques Greene Remix)

Jesse Boykins III and MeLo-X’s ‘The Perfect Blues’ has been blended and reshaped by Jaques Greene to produce a very smooth rhythmic house tune. He proves that hes one of the most talented producers on the scene today, he shows off his synth skills to produce a slow soulful beauitiful tune which seems to put you in a transe like state.

Aspect - She Knows

You're instantly grabbed and find yourself lost in the dreamlike echoing vocals and and pulsating beat. The Listener feels very connected to the track, the sampled Whitney Houston vocals seem to go over and over in your head, and the fast skipping beat feels almost like when a heart beats fast. Aspect has composed a very sophisticated future garage track for someone of such a young age, but when are we going to have more from him...

Aaron Lipsett & Fion. - Cognac

This has to be one of the biggest future garage tracks of the past year, "Cognac" just seems never to get old no matter how many times you listen to it. The young Irish rewcommer Aaron Lipsett draws you in with the emotive vocals and progressive beat. He may not have been on the scene long but he's kicked off extremely well with "Kinda Slow" and "Know This", his style of funky garage beats and stunning vocals creates very addictive sounds, you find yourself endlessly abusing the repeat button.

Neon Hitch - Gucci Gucci (ViLLΛGE Edit)

wow... this track just speaks for its self really, stunning sounds which is no doubt going to be extremely popular. Village just produces music which really make you feel, you can drift off in his tracks in to your own world. 'Memories of you" has been one of my favorites as it sends you off into your own dreamlike state. This latest release grabs you with its powerful vocals and heat beat base behind it, Village is really one of a kind.

Tom Demac - Dirty Honey

Ok so this track may have been out a while now, but this is one of my favorites by the very talented Tom Demac. If you dont know his work he produces very funky house beats with effortlessly cool retro house vocals that cant help you feel good. "Dirty honey" is just a masterpiece, with its old school electronic vibe you cant help nodding your head to the dirty house beat and feel the pangs of nostalgia from the Wu Tan Clan. If you enjoyed this try out his boiler room DJ set which shows off his electronic hip-hop house sounds.  Tom Demac has created a sound that is very original and special here.

Polkadot - Wasn't Like That

I am ashamed to say i have only just discovered this wonderkid, at the young age of 18 hes got to grips with the electronic garage scene already. This latest track "Wasn't like that" just oozes cool with its skipping beat and catchy lyrics. Yet he only gives a short 80 second clip, just to tease us, which i have already overplayed tens of times. Try out his other tunes "Eternity" and "Miss you" , dont worry he was kind enough to put the whole length tracks on soundcloud.

Maths Time Joy - Always

Maths time joy have already had some hits with "walk with me" and a remix of Bon Iver's "Calgary", and he seems to be getting better and better. This latest release is part of the "Hideaway" EP which contains  uplifting vibes with warm vocals and bouncy fast beats, 'Always' in my opinion is the best track with its emotional vocals "baby i think about you too much" which catches your feelings. He seems to be the dark horse of the electronic genre and his youtube tracks deserve more views, make sure you get listening, check out 'Hideaway' now.

Artful Dodger – Please Don’t Turn Me On feat. Lifford (Disclosure Remix)

The two brothers have been donned as the leaders of the future garage movement for a while now. The prophecies were confirmed when ‘Latch’ reached the top ten and proved to be a beaut of a tune, and now endlessly repeated on daytime radio 1. This remix of Artful Dodger proves that disclosure have a special something, the song is effortlessly good and you can’t help yourself wanting to nod your head or dance.

Lauryn Hill - Doo Wop (Pedestrian & Maribou State Remix)

Maribou state can’t put a foot wrong, they have teamed up yet again with Pedestrian to produce this masterpiece. Some of their best work has been when they use vocal harmonies, cutting and reshaping vocals which sets the mood of the song. The original by Lauryn Hill is a very upbeat 90s R&B tune, however the remix brings a very sexy chilled vibe while still keeping its vintage 90's R&B edge. If you enjoyed this try another collaboration by the duo "rush don't run".
