Wankelmut & Emma Louise - My Head Is A Jungle (MK Remix)
The one thing that stands out for Marc Kitchen (MK) are his euphoric drops. I've been lucky enough to see him live back a few moths ago, he toys with the crowd with teasing samples of the famous 'look right through' mixed in until we can't take it any more, but also his broad range of house music in his sets illustrates what a talent he really is. This his latest remix is a real endorphin rush rich with soul and a uplifting piano keys, and that drop is really something else. If you haven't seen him live yet buy your tickets now!

Enviado Vida - If I Could Live Again
So you're sitting here in front of your computer screen, it's a raining and gloomy outside.. but hit play and you'll be transported to some distant exotic Spanish Beach. 'If I could live again' is a pumping tropical house tune, it has a rich and colourful radiance guitar chords which just absorbs you. For those 4 minutes 33 seconds I'm not in England, I'm taking in the sun of Ibiza on a sandy beach.

London Grammar - Hey Now (Wild Culture Remix)
Words don't even come close to describe the beauty of London Grammar. Last week I was at the Secret Garden Party Festival, rain was slowly petering down from the dark evening sky and a green glow emanated from the tall trees surrounding the stage on which London Grammar stood. I diddn't believe until love at first sight until I first saw lead singer Hannah Reid on stage... and that was before she sang a single note. Her voice is mature and enchanting with a hint of sorrow which makes it so instantly likeable. Wild Culture have made their own interpretation of the original, this is one for a late night listen.

Applebottom - Someone
Applebottom has to be one of the most heavily featured artists on Beats Per Day, if not the most featured artist! After reaching 15,000 followers he has kindly released the beautiful 'someone' on a free download. Enjoy!

ATTAR! feat. Cherry - The Fool (Pete Oak Remix)
Tonight I find myself having a quiet night in, I decide to catch up on all the latest music, you too may find yourself in the early hours of the morning endlessly searching the darkest depths of soundcloud for that one track. But then it happens. I find that banging tune i've been craving so badly, however after 5 plays I find myself awake and wired, energy runs through my vains and I'm raving along. Tonight I have Pete Oak to thank. Boy is this a belter!
Laura Mvula - SHE (MJ Cole Radio Remix)

Kidnap Kid - Thin Lines
I first fell in love with Kidnap Kid after listening to 'no-one else' and 'be mine', with it's blended cut vocals, ingenuity and raw energy it instantly grabbed me . His latest tracks have a more polished cleaner sounds with crisp vocals, take 'animaux' and 'so close' for example. 'Thin Lines' follows this pattern, a soft instrumental with a clean warm vocals, an enjoyable listen. Kidnap Kid like many artists has matured and developed over time, don't get me wrong his releases in 2013 have been good, I've downloaded all the tracks, however I would like for him to maybe experiment and throw us something new. But I do see the point some of you may make, he's making a good music establishing a trademark sound which is also commercial. Putting this aside Kidnap Kid has progressed into one of the leading men in the genre releasing hit after hit with an instantly likable sound.

Cyril Hahn - Perfect Form Ft. Shy Girls
I saw Cyril Hahn at the CYNT event in Cardiff a few weeks back, his set was close and intimate, dropping the Hahn classics as well as some other surprises. His latest release 'Perfect Form' fresh of soundcloud is a smooth number, it floats along in a dream like state with delicate chords and a warm vocal. It may not be as revolutionary as some of his previous tracks, however it's an enjoyable listen and ticks all the boxes with the signature Hahn sound.

Drums of Death - True Ft. Yasmin
Yasmin is one of the hottest talents on the scene right now, having recently teamed up with Friend Within on the banger 'so special' she now joins forces with Drums of Death. From the first few chords in I'm already hooked, it's develops beautifully and has a deep smokey base entwined with those sexy Yasmin vocals. This tune is like a drug, and I can't get enough of it.

My Nu Leng & Fearful - Saccades
Sundays are for chilling, well now thats a little boring isn't it? Instead turn you speakers up and groove along to 'saccades' which is part of the 'Elite' EP which is a must listen released on Black Butter Records. I've had this on my library for a few months now, but it still remains so fresh and breezy, an easy listen to get you moving.

Friend Within - The Renegade
Without question this has been one of the biggest tracks of the year, I've heard everyone dropping it, a real dance floor filler. He first previewed this back in December last year but has waited 6 months to give a release date of the 19th August as part of a 4-track EP. It brings that 90s classic back to life, a fresh spin for all us house heads. Even listening to it now, it remains as good as it did the first time I heard it.

Maribou State - Bring Me The Summer Mix (i-D online)
It's the first day of summer and things are looking up, the warm weather has started to settle and the light evening can't help but put you in a good mood. This evening I had family round for a BBQ, cousins, uncles, aunts and grandparents, as always it's a difficult choice as to what music would suit everyone. But I decided to put on Maribou State's latest set for i-Dj, a sweet selection of soul, disco and jazz all deliciously blended together, no matter what you're age is you can appreciate and love it. The secret to Maribou States success is simple, they have a vast knowledge and love for music, in particular that soulful jazz feel adapted to modern deep house, they really are in a class of their own. As I sit back sipping a corona in the evening sun this really has put a smile on my face.
Aaron Lipsett & Brame - the land of fluff
I'm ashamed to say that I still haven't seen Aaron Lipsett live, with a collection of outstanding tracks under his belt already he's one that you just need to see live. Here collaborating with another leading Irishman Brame, who also worked with Fion on 'get some' which is an old favourite. Within the first few seconds of 'a land of fluff' my head is already nodding along, a slow burning funk track, which has a naughty old school 80s feel. You may have been lucky enough to hear this dropped in one of their live sets, but it's perfect for any mood or environment, whether you're cooking in the kitchen, jamming by the pool or in a club. An essential for your summer, get it now on a free download.

Joel Compass - Fucked Up (Huxley Remix)
When listening to the original song by Joel Compass I felt like there was something lacking, just not hitting the spot, lacking the venom which those lyrics so beautifully hold, but along comes Huxley to transform it ready for the dance floor. The lines "I'm so fucked up, and this girl won't wake up" has a dangerous and sinister side, Huxley wraps the lyrics around a dirty bass-line which makes it devilishly irresistible. king of the dance floor Huxley has conjured his dark magic, and you can't help yourself dancing.

Amel Larrieux - For Real / Jaël Remix
Sunday evenings are those times to chill, to unwind and relax and to forget about that week looming ahead. It just fits in perfectly to your sunday night playlist.

TJPN - Actress
Teenage star TJPN has been a favorite of ours for a while now, he's the dark horse of the rising movement of young producers, one that is destined for great things. His signature sound is soft yet mellow house, with garage and R&B flavors, it's an instantly likable sound which is so damn catchy.
What gives TJPN that edge is his eye for a good sample, that ability to make it his own, but still give the listener that nostalgic pang, the Kelis sample in 'your games' is a prime exampe of this. Those of you smart arses may recognise this particular sample, Keke Wyatt and Avant's 'Nothing in the world', which was chart topping in 2001 and a real hidden gem. get your hands on 'Actress' now on a free download, this is something special.
Mirror People - Kaleidoscope (Psychemagik Sunset Remix)
This song was made for the open air, refreshing with rich and bright colours which leap out at you, creating an exotic and mysterious feel. Snakehips - Make it
Snakehips have knocked all my assumptions out of the park! You may know them for their groovefilled soulful tracks such as 'on and on' and their remix of the Bondax track 'gold'. But here they take a new direction, something different, unlike their previous sounds 'Make It' has a dirty edge to it , dare I say it a similar sound to Rustie. Turn this one up!

Pedestrian - Hoyle Road
I was instantly drawn to the song 'Hoyle Road', however I couldn't explain why until I recently watched the music video for the song. It's full of mystery, desire, lust and passion, a story of a man who caught in a dream, intoxicated by the beauty of a woman who flickers in and out tormenting and teasing him . The video perfectly depicts the song, a true work of art by the amazing pedestrian. With tracks like 'Mask', 'Doo Wop' and 'Rush Don't Run', pedestrian are at the top of their game.

Andrey Exx & Fomichev - Be Good (Original Mix)
There is something about this track that makes me want to move, I can't help my head or any other part of my body moving along to this. A delicious deep house track, with a sweet melody which is damn groovy, accompanied by a sexy vocal sample from Lilly Allen. The breakdown after 3 minutes is simply elegant, letting that mesmorising voice do all the work until it builds into that deep drop. A real masterpiece.

Disclosure - F For You
It is almost time for the long awaited debut album from Disclosure. As expected there has been huge praise of the album, but also there are those who are cynical. The Album is a real treat, some old gems such as 'boiling' but also some new tracks featuring up and coming talents like London Grammar and Eliza Doolittle. Is it deep house? Is it garage .... But does it really matter? The two brothers have released this into the mainstream which is unlike anything out there at the moment. Some of their tracks may be molded to that of the tastes of the generic radio 1 daytime listener, but who cares? The album is an enjoyable listen, something special which we will not forget for a long time.

It may be hard to admit, but even some of us house heads out there are have a guilty pleasure for some R&B. Blonde - Be Mine
The Blonde Boys are back, I don't know about you but I've still got 'I loved you' still ringing in my ears, their tracks never seem to get old. What defines Blonde is that uplifting house feel, when i've heard one of their tracks live it's like a switch has been flicked, the place just suddenly erupts, people love it because it's quite simply feel good music.

His latest track 'I know' is so soft and smooth, with a deep powerful vocal which hits you smack bang in the middle of the chest, accompanied by some dazzling sounds which you quite mesmorised. It's the perfect soundtrack to my Tuesday evening as I sit in the back garden stealing the last of the day sun while it creeps over the horizon.

Chesus - Special
It seems that summer is finally upon us here in Britain (fingers crossed), the sun is out and it's starting to feel warm, after the past few months of poor weather I don't want anyone complaining about how hot it is. So procrastinating as ever I'm sat in the garden grooving along to the delights of Chesus, this is pure house at its very best which has been made for days like today.

Naughty Boy feat. Sam Smith - La La La (Pále Remix)
20 minutes ago I was sat at my computer, books sprawled across the table, chewing the end of my pen in concentration as I attempt to write a university essay. However a brief lapse in concentration as ever led me to the Eton Messy youtube page and to the latest release of the Pale remix of 'la la la', hence I find myself sinking deep into my sofa sipping a chilled beer. This remix is utterly spellbinding, it's deep and mystical which sucks you into another world. The Sam Smith vocal (who you will recognise from Disclosure's 'latch') is rich with melencholy and emotion which is perfectly entwined with Pale instrumental, pure magic. Indulge yourself and sit back and grab a drink.
Hot Natured featuring Anabel Englund - Reverse Skydiving (Shadow Child Remix)
Friday, Friday, Friday.. The weekend starts here and no better way to kick that off with a combo of Hot Natured and Shadow Child. A month or two back I posted the original track, 'skydiving' a sizzling sexy summer tune, and I'm sure I not alone in being rather surprised at Shadow Child putting his stamp on it. Those vocals become haunting and eerie which builds up into a big drop, that bass is pure gold, giving a dirty edge to the clean cut original. A very naughty remix.

RareBit - As Long As You

So it's been one of the coldest Easters since records began, todays headline 'snow' and 'more snow', getting a little boring now isn't it, but us British do love to complain about the weather. Today seems like a turning point, the sun has decided to come out and with it a new Armeria song which seems to perfectly compliment the warm sun and blue skies. Fion - Every Moment
My love for Fion was first sparked when I heard the iconic 'cognac', those Brandy vocals and that future garage sound caught me hook line and sinker. Over the past few months it's been hit after hit, 'counterfeit', 'get some' and 'back now' are just some of the greats, not to mention his collaborations with fellow Irishman and good friend Aaron Lipsett. Theres a real variety in different sounds to his music, house, garage and bass with an old school 90s flavour.
I find myself grooving along to his latest track 'every moment', it flows along and builds with some amplified synths, then the drop releases a bouncing bass and a classic Fion style 90s rhythm. I've been trying to put my finger on what makes Fion's sound so special, and quite simply it's just feel good music.

Wilkinson - Take You Higher (Foamo Remix)
Easter is one of the best times of year for us British, Easter Bank Holiday, that's 3 days on the lash with no worries of work. But cast your worries away for today is a new day, Foamo's remix of 'take you higher' is the energy boost that your night needs, that drop gets me everytime.

George Maple - Fixed (Maribou State Remix)
Its early, a bit too early, the sun is only beginning to rise and it feels like I'm the only one awake in this place. I gaze out my window at sheets of white which blanket the ground, it's quiet and still, however I cannot sleep. I turn to play 'Fixed' and I find my self utterly spellbound, it creates an intimate atmosphere with deep warm soulful vocals and a magical instrumental, it just makes you feel good. As one comment mentioned, I'm in the Maribou State of mind.

Jonar LR - Cockiness
Cure those Monday blues with Jonas LR's latest release 'cockiness', it may be a Rihanna sample, but who gives a shit, I mind myself grooving along to 'I love it when you eat it'. Wildchild - Renegade Master (AppleBottom POWER Bootleg)
Teenage Bristol boy Applebottom is the master of the old school house sound, I never know what he's going to conjure up next. Hot of soundcloud is hit latest remix of the classic 'reneagade master', an inevitably head-noddin tune which was born for the dancefloor, with an old school house sound and uplifting synths this has Applebottom's name all over it. He had previously released a snippet of this, but this full release is now available on a free download for you lucky people. If you're craving some more, check out a Disco Palace mix he did.

Bonobo - Emkay
Picture the scenario, it's 4 in the morning and you've been raving all night, you finally get home with your mates, but what music do you put on? It's a dilemma that most of us face, we all have that mate who wants another line or some heavy bass music, but if you're like me you want something to unwind and chill to. Jill Scott - Golden (Kaytranada's Life Living Edition)
Everything that Kayranada touches turns to gold, he's constantly relasing track after track of the best quality, does this guy ever rest. I had previously heard Catching Flies do a innovative remix of 'golden' blending the vocals beautifully, but Kaytranada keeps that warm soulful feel of the original with some groovy bass. Look out for a Boiler room set he's going to do in Los Angeles with the likes of Sweater Beats and TA-KU in a few days time, going to be big!

R Kelly - Bump n Grind (Waze & Odyssey Mix)
I was just listening to Bondax at a pool party at WMC when Waze & Oddsey's remix of 'bump and grind' was dropped, I had previously heard Eton Messy drop it in one of their sets, and boy does it go down well live. I feel myself noddin and moving along to the beat without even realising what I'm doing, 'bump and grind' has that perfect mixture of garage and house vibes with an old school flavour. Make sure you turn this one up.

Linear - Never Had
Well I can't tell you very much about Linear, he's an elusive character with no profile or information on soundcloud, but stumbling across his debut track 'never had' made my day. The song has been crafted from an old school Faith Evans track 'love like this', Linear takes this into 2013 with a simple but effective house instrumental. I can't get enough of those old school bouncy vibes. Show some support for this underground producer and downloading 'never had' for free.

ViLLΛGE - Wanna Tell You (Henry Krinkle Remix)
If you haven't heard of Henry Krinkle by now I don't know what cave you have been living in, 'Stay' was one of the best songs of 2012 not to mention beauties like 'down to love'. There is something very special about his music, he really connects the listener to the music, it sucks you in another world. The original Village's track 'Wanna Tell You' is a deep, dark gripping song like much of his early stuff, but Henry Krinkle gives it a whole new feel, some deep groovy vibes from this one.
Justin Timberlake Feat. Ciara - Love Sex Magic (Bodhi Remix)

That drop after the 1 minute mark just brings a smile upon my face, it makes my whole body move. Grab it on a free download you lucky people
