Teenage star TJPN has been a favorite of ours for a while now, he's the dark horse of the rising movement of young producers, one that is destined for great things. His signature sound is soft yet mellow house, with garage and R&B flavors, it's an instantly likable sound which is so damn catchy.
What gives TJPN that edge is his eye for a good sample, that ability to make it his own, but still give the listener that nostalgic pang, the Kelis sample in 'your games' is a prime exampe of this. Those of you smart arses may recognise this particular sample, Keke Wyatt and Avant's 'Nothing in the world', which was chart topping in 2001 and a real hidden gem. get your hands on 'Actress' now on a free download, this is something special.
